As easy as that may sound, not everyone has the ingredients needed to be able to prepare this sort of food at home.

The light meal option “chicken/rice/electrolytes” is not an all-in-one food and therefore doesn’t provide a fully balanced diet but is intended to be used over a short period of time as a light alternative to normal dog food.
It contains chicken breast (60 %), rice (40 %) and additional electrolytes in order to quickly provide your dog with the minerals it requires.
The rice comes pre-cooked and the chicken breast is freeze dried. The food simply needs to be mixed with hot water (2.5 parts water to 1 part food) and left to stand for 10 minutes.
